Slogan Competition
- Slogan should be in Marathi.
- Although it is not mandatory, we encourage you to incorporate Chicago in Slogan.
- Slogan need to include key elements of MMC’s vision and 50 years of MMC
- Connecting Marathi Speaking community of Chicagoland.
- Provide the cultural support to all Maharashtrian people now in USA
Logo Competition
- Logo should include key elements of MMC’s vision & 50 years of MMC
- Connecting Marathi Speaking community of Chicagoland
- Provide the cultural support to all Maharashtrian people now in USA
- Although it is not mandatory, we encourage you to incorporate Chicago Logo
- Logo Image Resolution: No less than 300 dpi.
- Logo entries must be submitted as an image format (png, jpg, gif, tiff). Please note that we would also need the original file (PSD or Coral draw files with the fonts embedded.)
- Text in logos should be converted to outlines
- No photographs or stock images as part of Logo.
The competition guidelines

- The slogan and logo should be original, unpublished work and not based on any pre-existing copyrighted work. Entries should not violate the intellectual property rights of any individual/entity.
- Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality and relevance to the theme.
- Logo will also be evaluated based on how it looks in all different media and sizes.
- All the rights of the designs would be belonging to MMC team once the entry is submitted.
- MMC team reserves the right to adopt the slogan and logo with some changes.
- Last date of submission is 14th April 2019.
- Entries for slogan and logo design competitions should be submitted to gjc@mahamandalchicago.org
- The winner of each contest will be decided based on FB poll likes and Judges marks.
- Both winners will be recognized during the Golden Jubilee Celebration event on Oct 11 to 13, 2019 at Hemmens Cultural Center, Elgin IL
