Dear Volunteers,

Thank you for volunteering for the BMM 2011 convention. Below is a summary of committees and brief description of the function of each committee.

Please fill in the signup form with all relevant personal information. The personal information fields are mandatory. This information makes it easy for us to contact you and allocate you to a committee based on your preference/ requirements in that committee. We will also consider distances, so as to minimize your travel times.

Business
Plan and coordinate events, provide platform for networking and collaboration, knowledge of upcoming technologies in respective fields

CME
Plan and coordinate events, programs for CME, Health Forum, Pharmaceutical Companies participation

Cultural Programming
Plan and execute programs and events to ensure proper mix of local and Indian talent, Budget Planning, coordination with artists, holding auditions and assist in the program selection process

Exhibitors
Plan exhibition to create a win-win situation, booths for College Planning, Physical Therapy, Immigration, Estate Planning, Alternate Medicine and Finance Planning

Facilities/AV/Decoration
Coordinate with convention center, food, programming, Business Conference, setup AV, coordination with artists on setup requirements

Finance
Budget, accounts, legal, audit and paying expenses and insurance

Food
Plan menu, dining arrangements, ambience, selection of vendors and coordination

Fund Raising
Individual and Corporate Donations, Fund Raising events, coordinating with donors

Hotel and Tourism
Hotel Accommodations packages, arranging sight seeing packages, arranging local transport for guests/dignitories/artists

Human Resources
Volunteer drive and management, working with several committees to ensure they are adequately staffed, regular communication with volunteers, organizing recreational events for volunteers

IT
Web presence, publish and print material, registration infrastructure, internet and mail services, IT services to various committees

Media and Marketing
Marketing drive, Advertisement, souvenir, Brochures, video and audio presentation, publicity of the BMM 2011 Convention in Chicago brand.

Registration
Create and Manage a reliable, seamless Registration experience, be “Customer Service Representative”, collaborate with IT, Hotel, Hospitality and Food

Welcome and Hospitality
Welcome package and hospitality booths, décor and ambience, dignitaries arrangement, security, emergencies, coordinate visas for guests/ artists from outside North America.

Youth
Plan event and programs for youth, organize speed dating events.
